Shipping & returns

ALL FABRIC AND PATTERN SALES ARE FINAL.

 

Please follow the guidelines below for returns and shipping details

We provide free shipping to all Canadian orders over $200. Any other orders will be subject to a $15 shipping fee. 

You should expect your package within 4-8 business days, from date of ship. All our packages have a tracking number which will be sent to you when the order is shipped. 

We also offer a LOCAL PICK UP option for those in and around Greater Sudbury. There is no fee for this option.  

All orders to the United States have a flat shipping rate of $25. 

Please allow up to 3-5 business days for processing. We work on getting all orders out as quick as we can however, online orders are processed Monday to Friday between 10-4PM. 

** Please note that due to high volumes of orders, some products may be oversold.  Refunds will be issued for oversold items. We apologize for any inconveniences, we will do our best to fulfill all orders. ** 

OUR POLICY

Exchange & Store Credit

We hope you love your new purchases.  However, if you are dissatisfied with a product, we would be happy to offer you an exchange or store credit within 10 days of receiving your order. Returned items will be inspected once received.

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Email us at [email protected]to get the return approved and receive an authorization number.
  2. Ensure your item(s) have all original tags and packaging.
  3. Ship the item back to us within 10 days of receiving it. The customer is required to cover all extra shipping fees. 
  4. We will issue you a store credit for the item(s) returned to us. Store credits will be sent to the email used to place the original order.

**If you are hoping to EXCHANGE an item please note that in your initial email!

*Please note: If COD charges are incurred when we receive your returned item, the COD cost will be deducted from your store credit total.

FINAL SALE ITEMS

The following are some items that we do not return or exchange:

-all fabric, and patterns are FINAL SALE.

-Returns received after 10 days of customer receiving them

-Sale items

-Items that have been damaged or used.

-Free promotional gifts 

 

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS + CODES

On occasion we run sales and gift with purchase promotions. Because our sales are temporary, and not a permanent price change, we are unable to honour any price adjustments. Coupon codes must be entered at time of purchase, no price adjustments will be made if a code is not entered at the time of purchase. Our last chance items are FINAL SALE and no price adjustments can be made.

We have the right to refuse any return if it does not meet our return policy standards.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

If a package does not reach its destination and is sent back to us, the customer will be held responsible for any return and original shipping charges. To prevent this from happening please look out for any delivery attempt notifications and use the 'TRACK MY ORDER' feature located on our website.

Please note we are not accountable for any orders that have been marked as delivered nor where delivery attempts have been made.

Dominion Sewing is not responsible for any customs charges or local taxes due to international shipment. Please familiarize yourself with your countries regulations as payment of these duties may be necessary to release your order.
